Tonya Heilbrun graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She is a perfect fit for our company as she has a very unique story of her own. Tonya was one of The World Egg Banks recipients back in 2003 when Diana Thomas (Founder and CEO) was still operating her fresh donor agency, X and Y Consulting. Tonya has amazing twin boys as a result of her donor egg experience. Six short months after the birth of her twins, she “miraculously” became pregnant with her third biological son.
Anna Hasselbring graduated from Northern Arizona University with a double major in Advertising and Public Relations. Anna’s previous work at a marketing firm in Chicago has given her a unique perspective that she now uses to educate and counsel potential egg donors. She also has 6+ years in child care and customer service giving her exceptional people skills. Anna’s outgoing, caring personality along with her passion regarding egg donation allows her to connect with new donors and guide them through the application process.
Shannon’s background is in education and her work in the Early Childhood Education for 13 years as a teacher has given her significant background in planning and working within structured time-sensitive management systems. As a member of the school’s management team, she worked with many students in their 20’s to counsel them on career choices. She has exceptional communication skills, organizational and computer skills and human resource management training. Her energy and commitment to serving customers is clearly demonstrated in her relationship with our clients.
Working in fertility for over a decade, and serving as an ART program supervisor for the past seven years, Brian has proved himself to be an expert embryologist. He has extensive experience in all facets of the embryology laboratory, including: ICSI, Day 3 and Day 5 blastocyst embryo development, assisted hatching, vitrification of oocytes and embryos, and PGD.
August was one of the first hundred babies born in the United States from donor eggs. He has been integral to the growth of the company since its inception and started working for The World Egg Bank in 2012, when he began his degree in Business Management. He has a passion for egg donation because he understands the significant impact a child born to infertility patients has not only for the parents, but the entire extended family around those parents. His goal is to make this path easier and a positive experience for both egg donors and infertile parents.
Lisa is a graduate of Arizona State University and a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She helped establish the first IVF center in Arizona resulting in the first IVF baby in Arizona in the early 1980’s and has worked in Reproductive Medicine for over 30 years. Lisa has worked with many donors and recipients, including Founder and CEO, Diana Thomas during her successful treatment cycle nearly 20 years ago. Lisa was born in Southern California and raised in Arizona. She is the mom of teenage twins.
Andrea has worked in the medical field working with infertility patients for over 7 years. Throughout her years, Andrea has grown a passion for assisting couples through the process of reaching their goal of becoming parents. She has a great understanding of everything infertility patients go through which she emphasizes to donors. She is very patient and understanding which allows her to work well with donors. Andrea is also completely fluent in Spanish.
Amy graduated from Arizona State University with a major in Microbiology. Amy’s love for microscopic science helped guide her through an internship at ASU’s renowned Biodesign Institute where she worked in the department of Infectious Disease and Vaccinology, studying reproductive science. Through this experience, she gained the knowledge and techniques necessary to spark her interest and also jump start her career in embryology, including fine motor skills and an in-depth understanding of scientific research. Amy also has a strong background in customer service and public health which makes her an excellent communicator.
