By becoming an egg donor, you are committing to the process of donating your eggs to a recipient. During and after that process, the level of disclosure you wish to have with the recipient is entirely up to you.

Most donors choose to remain anonymous, and the recipient never learns your identity. Some donors may be willing to meet with the recipient in the presence of a World Egg Bank representative, but even then any information that would lead to your identity is kept confidential.

Most donors do offer to be of assistance to the recipient if a child results from the donation and there is a medical emergency that requires consultation with the donor in the future.
