The World Egg Bank has the privilege of interviewing so many lovely women each week. It is our great pleasure to work with such giving and gifted women. Periodically, we would like to do a donor spotlight wherein we highlight one donor who has made an impact on us. Today, we would like to acknowledge Donor 16584 for her beautiful spirit—and genes.
Donor 16584 is 23 years old and an Arizona native. She is 5’4 and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She lives in Mesa with her fiancé, her seven year old future step son, and her cat, Mericio. The four of them get along very well, and she describes herself as “the strict one.” She started her own business straight out of high school, developing phone apps, and her fiancé does metal work.
16584 is very sweet; her laughter is infectious, and the entire office was taken with her ingenuity and industrious nature. She is obviously very self-motivated, and it is inspiring to see a young woman take control of her future in such a creative and business savvy way.
16584 is very eclectic in her interests, talents, and experiences. While she is an athletic woman, she does not describe herself as, “the most coordinated person in the world when it comes to sports.” (Her humor is festooned with self-deprecation that is subtle and endearing.) She relishes Fall, despite it lasting only a short while here in Arizona, due to the temperate weather. She loves Asian Cuisine most, and notes that there are several Mongolian Barbecue restaurants in the area that she enjoys. 16584 enjoys most types of music, save for smooth jazz, which she does not seek out. She is a Cardinals football fan—true to her home team! She has driven across the country twice, and loves the mountains in North Carolina best because of their green vistas.
